Every contribution directly supports our commitment to offering equine‑supported mentoring at little to no cost for individuals in need. Equine Mentor Programs
Our equine mentor programs offer a meaningful and impactful way for individuals ages five and up to grow, build confidence, and strengthen important life skills. Through guided interactions with horses, participants develop emotional awareness, build trust, and improve communication in a safe and supportive environment.
To continue offering these opportunities, we rely on donations of $100 per person for each weekly session. Your generosity directly supports children and adults facing adversity and helps ensure our services remain accessible to those who need them most.
Educational Groups
Our Educational Groups offer meaningful learning opportunities for individuals in need. These workshops integrate guided interactions with horses and explore themes such as hope, trust, resilience, and personal growth. Each session provides a safe and encouraging space for participants to build confidence and strengthen important life skills.

Community Outreach
Our Community Outreach Events are designed to raise awareness about the value of equine‑supported activities and the importance of standing alongside individuals in our community who have experienced trauma or who live with disabilities. Horse and Pony Care
Horses and ponies require consistent, high‑quality care to stay healthy and ready to serve our community. Each of our equine partners depends on feed, shavings, veterinary care, farrier services, and ongoing training. By sponsoring one of our well‑trained horses or ponies, you directly support the heart of our outreach.
A gift of $400 per month covers the full care of one horse or pony. Hope on the Farm currently cares for 18 equine partners on our 40‑acre property in Southwest Virginia, and your generosity helps ensure they remain healthy, safe, and ready to make a difference.
