Welcome to the donation options page for Hope on the Farm, an equine mentor program located in Marion, Virginia. Your support plays a vital role in helping us bring hope, connection, and growth to children and adults who have experienced trauma or who live with a disability.
Every contribution directly supports our commitment to offering equine‑supported mentoring at little to no cost for individuals in need. Your generosity makes these opportunities possible, and all donations are fully tax‑deductible. Thank you for partnering with us to make a meaningful difference in our community.
Equine and Nature Themed Mentor Programs
Our equine mentor programs offer a meaningful and impactful way for individuals ages five and up to grow, build confidence, and strengthen important life skills. Through guided interactions with horses and nature exploration, participants develop emotional awareness, build trust, and improve communication in a safe and supportive environment.
To continue offering these opportunities, we rely on donations of $100 per person for each weekly session. Your generosity directly supports children and adults facing adversity and helps ensure our services remain accessible to those who need them most.
Educational Groups
Our Educational Groups offer meaningful learning opportunities for individuals in need. These workshops integrate guided interactions with horses and nature and explore themes such as hope, trust, resilience, and personal growth. Each session provides a safe and encouraging space for participants to build confidence and strengthen important life skills.
To continue offering these group experiences, we rely on donations of $45 per person for each weekly session. Your generosity helps ensure that our programs remain accessible to those who need them most.
Community Outreach
Our Community Outreach Events are designed to raise awareness about the value of equine‑supported and nature-based activities and the importance of standing alongside individuals in our community who have experienced trauma or who live with disabilities. By attending or sponsoring these events, you help us extend hope, connection, and support to even more people.
Animal Care
Horses, ponies, and other therapeutic animals require consistent, high-quality care to remain healthy and able to serve in therapeutic programs. Our animal partners depend on feed, bedding, veterinary care, farrier services, and ongoing training. By sponsoring one of our well-trained horses, ponies, or other therapeutic animals you directly support the heart of our outreach.
A gift of $400 per month fully covers the care of one horse or pony, or the gift of $100 per month covers one of our other animal friends.
Hope on the Farm currently cares for more than 20 equine partners, along with many other trained therapeutic animals, on our nearly 50-acre property in Southwest Virginia. Your generosity helps ensure they remain healthy, safe, and ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
